WELCOME TO MOBOTICA!

My name is Mauricio Tejerina (MO).I'm originally from Spain but I live in the Boston area. Here you can take a look at my current artwork.

PAINTINGS: All of the paintings are made with acrylics and oils. I really enjoy landscapes and cityscapes. All of the works are done from photographs that I have taken myself. The cityscapes are done on site.

PHOTOGRAPHY: I have started doing photography this year. The shots that you see here are part of my learning experience. I'm a big fan of bright colors and strong compositions.

SKETCHES:Drawing is the longest thing I have been doing. I always carry my sketchbook... it is like a diary to me. I paste into it things that strike me or define me and also things that keep track of events in my life. The drawings in this section are from my most recent sketchbook.

ILLUSTRATIONS: My illustration work is a reflection of my influence from the game industry. Flat colors and the representation of sideways scenes show how many ours I have spend with 3d software!.This artwork is done in gouache.

NEWS:

11/08/04. Finally I got the ball rolling. I just finished putting all my stuff together... As for projects I'm working on another landscape painting which is still part of my acadia series. I'm also working on a concept for a coastal town.

12/07/04. after finishing the website I got back to my drawing board and my studio. I have added a new sketch (here is the actual size)of a costal town for a game proposal that never made it and a new painting of my acadia series...so 3 more and I will be done with the series.

2/06/05. Happy new year to all!. I finally got my photos together and the selection wasnt easy from more than 1000 pics I selected about 100 and 20 have made it here.I have not added the small thumbnails...cause I dont think they are actually working.A new painting is coming out soon!
